At the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) in Cannes, we proudly reaffirm our commitment to Condé Nast Johansens. Our dedication to excellence in hospitality and unparalleled service is showcased through our distinguished portfolio. We aim to inspire and engage luxury travellers, establishing lasting connections that reflect the essence of our brand. This participation underscores our unwavering pursuit of innovation and quality within the luxury travel sector.
This year at the prestigious ILTM exhibition in Cannes, Lyon Expo had the pleasure of partnering once again with Condé Nast Johansens to design and build a stand that would elegantly represent eight iconic luxury hotels from their global collection. ILTM is a place where the world’s most exclusive travel brands connect, so our mission was to create a stand that not only attracted attention but also communicated refinement, quality, and individuality.
Designing With Intention: Modern Elegance Meets Functionality
From the outset, we aimed to craft a space that reflected Condé Nast Johansens’ prestige while offering a fresh, modern character. The design strategy combined contemporary architectural elements with soft contrasts and warm touches.
To achieve this, we used:
-
White slatted walls backed with black felt, creating a visually striking yet sophisticated layered effect
-
Aluminium panels, adding a polished, contemporary finish
-
Black slatted partitions, defining each hotel’s personal zone while preserving a sense of openness and continuity
The interplay of these materials created a stand that felt both structured and welcoming—allowing visitors to instantly feel the identity of the Condé Nast Johansens brand.
Eight Hotels, Eight Identities—One Cohesive Environment
One of the biggest challenges of the project was ensuring that each of the eight featured hotels had a distinct presencewithin a unified stand design. To achieve this balance, we designed individual meeting spaces, each framed by black slatted walls that provided separation without complete enclosure.
To highlight each hotel’s identity, every space was fronted by a custom-designed lightbox, featuring:
-
The hotel’s name
-
A carefully selected photo that captured its essence
These illuminated panels didn’t just serve as signage—they became visual landmarks, drawing visitors through the stand and inviting them to explore each property’s universe.
A Stand Built to Engage, Connect, and Inspire
Beyond aesthetics, functionality played a central role in the build. ILTM is a fast-paced event where meetings and networking are constant. Each space was therefore optimized to ensure comfort, privacy, and efficiency.
We integrated smart storage solutions, comfortable meeting arrangements, and discreet lighting—ensuring the stand worked seamlessly for both visitors and hotel representatives. The circulation was designed to encourage exploration while maintaining a natural flow of traffic.
Positive Reactions and a Grateful Client
Throughout the event, the stand received overwhelmingly positive feedback from visitors, hoteliers, and industry professionals alike. Many praised the clarity of the layout, the elegant visual identity, and the welcoming overall tone.
But the message that meant the most to us came directly from our client:
“Thanks for being as efficient and amazing as usual, the stand looked and worked great; we really appreciate all your help!”
It’s always rewarding to see a project succeed at such a prestigious event, and this warm note of appreciation is a true reflection of the collaborative spirit behind the build.
Proud Partners in Exceptional Experiences
At Lyon Expo, we believe that a great stand does more than occupy space—it tells a story, supports a brand, and creates meaningful interactions. Working with Condé Nast Johansens on this project was a privilege, and we are proud to have delivered a stand that showcased their hotels with the elegance and distinction they deserve.
